Introducing DanceBod

This class aims to give you every exercise a dancer uses for flexibility, strengthening, and toning the whole body without using weights.

Many exercises will be familiar from other class genres, including isolation exercises that target the whole body individually. This is a high-intensity workout using dynamic stretching, joint mobilisation, and core strengthening.

So what does all this mean?

Dynamic Stretching

These are movements through a range of motion which increase blood flow and prepare muscles for the more intense movements of dance. 

Joint Mobilisations

Exercises like shoulder rolls, hip rotations and plies improve the range of motion and prepare the joints for more fluid movement. 

Core Strengthening

Using a variation of sit-ups and press-ups, and even held poses, which is crucial for maintaining good posture and balance during everyday life
